Social-Emotional Supports

Monroe-Woodbury Central School District understands that the social-emotional well-being of our students and staff is critically important to fulfilling our Mission Statement. As a result, a number of social-emotional supports have been created to address the mental health, behavioral and emotional needs of the Monroe-Woodbury school community, including staff, students and families.

Counseling & Behavioral Services

Parents and guardians are normally the first people to notice emotional and/or behavioral concerns with their child, but it is important to contact a professional if he/she is experiencing severe and/or chronic distress.  School professionals may also contact parents regarding behaviors they consider concerning. Seeing a health professional can help.
